Suffering is subjective - Modern Society
Suffering is subjective in today's modern society, suffering today is considered to be very very personal. The moment we see someone suffering we tend to avoid our feelings towards their sadness instead we avoid their feelings because we think it is no way affecting our life, which actually made me think this particular question " Where is empathy?." When everyone is looking at their own life and less bothered about other's suffering and their sufferings make me to literally think where are those humans who paid attention to someone else problem are today so heartless and thinks about their own self.
Today's lecture of our professor made me to Question where do I stand among the crowd, I am also an apatheic person?, do I listen and respond to someone's suffering, Am I still crying over someone's suffering, Am I listening to them without judgements, have I ever made someone to suffer because of my words, Am I kind enough to everyone even after they hurting me. These questions still wander my brain. Being a human is all about kindness, being there for eachother, knowing that people need someone in their tough times, being someone's light is much needed, make yourself available to those who need you when sadness sounds so loud in their life.
Suffering is not subjective and personal according to me because we have people who is ready to wipe someone's tears, hold your hands when you fall, a shoulder to lean on and cry and also tell about your day, making you available for them during their storm is the kindest thing of human life that you can do always. Meet in the next blog.
