Maha Shivratri
Maha Shivaratri, the day of celebration of something that is so special and also it's a religious festival but there is a ethical lesson behind it and we find this day where people follow strict fasting, avoid negative emotions and thoughts. This day brings changes in the life of many and there is always a hope of prayer that fulfills the prayers of many, may be you will feel whatever I say to be a tale of stories but the same day last year I placed a wish to God and that was fulfilled this year and only the blessings and energy will be given from God and your hard work is what makes your wish to be fulfilled.
The reason why Maha Shivaratri is celebrated, this is the story told by my grandmother when I was a kid, let me take you to that story virtually, there are two reasons why this festival is celebrated, the one reason is the marriage of Parvathi Devi and Lord Shiva who represents the true reflection of love and they stayed closer to eachother during their tough times and handled their life with full strength and efforts from both the end which made their relationship stronger and still we see them as the mentor for leading a married life, Lord Shiva always managed the anger of Parvathi Devi and still chose to love her which shows his sacrifice towards his wife. The next part of the story is that Lord Shiva drinks a deadly poison and stored it in his throat to save the universe from danger and it's believed that Parvathi Devi held the neck of Lord Shiva to stop the poison from going into his body which marks a sense of protection and love that she had for Lord Shiva. This is seen as the second reason which shows protection at two ways, one is that Shiva saves the world from danger and other is that Parvathi saving Shiva from death. These are the two stories that is said as the reason for celebrating Mahashivratri.
I personally found two things from Instagram reel which showed important aspects of Lord Shiva and Parvathi is that loyalty and tolerance, Shiva being a loyal husband who wished to marry Parvathi even after several struggles in their marriage but Lord Krishna had left the love of his life and Lord Ramar who left Seetha in fire and suspected that she had lost her virginity comparison of these two incidents of suspection and disloyalty, Lord Shiva stands high because he never left Parvathi Devi even after several mood swings and problem which reflects his loyalty and love towards Parvathi Devi.
Maha Shivaratri is the sign of true and sacred love of Lord Shiva and Parvathi Devi. And there many some scientific reason behind this day and if anyone knew about it then post them in the comments. Meet you in the next blog.
